Long Term Care Stabilization Program

This program provided temporary stabilization funding to incentivize frontline, direct care workers to remain or rejoin this critical workforce during the COVID-19 Emergency.

About the Program

In response to the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency, Governor Sununu has established the COVID-19 Long Term Care Stabilization (LTCS) Program to help stabilize front line work that is not able to be conducted remotely, of certain Medicaid providers that support aging seniors, people with developmental disabilities, individuals with mental health and substance abuse disorders, children at risk, and developmental disability service providers that provide residential or community/home based care. The program will provide temporary stabilization funding to incentivize front line, direct care workers to remain or rejoin this critical workforce during the COVID-19 Emergency. This will help ensure that these critical staff that support some of New Hampshire’s most vulnerable persons get uninterrupted care during the COVID-19 Emergency.

If you are a Medicaid service provider in any of these critical areas of care, the LTCS PROGRAM is here to help you RETAIN your critical frontline staff as well as RECRUIT additional frontline staff to assist in your ability to continue to provide high quality care throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
