New Hampshire Homeowner Assistance Fund

This program provided financial assistance to New Hampshire homeowners who were in arrears on their home mortgage, utilities, association fees, other common charges, and/or property taxes due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

About the Program

The New Hampshire Homeowner Assistance Fund (NH HAF) provides financial assistance for New Hampshire homeowners who are in arrears on their home mortgage, utilities, association fees, other common charges, and/or property taxes during or as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Eligibility

To be eligible, homeowners must have experienced a COVID-19 related reduction in income or increase in household expense, own and occupy the property as their primary residence, and have income of less than 125% of Area Median Income (AMI).

Each element of the program (mortgage assistance, property charges, and utility/internet assistance) has an award cap, with an overall household maximum of $40,000 in total assistance provided.”
